How to Train your Dragon Books and Movie

Hello World!!!!!!!!!

How to Train your Dragon #2
The first book of the series
How is your first week of summer? Mine is going well. I have been reading a book series called How To Train Your Dragon.  I read the first book and it was really interesting so I tried the movies and they were awesome. After watching the movie I read more books from the series. Eventually I got hooked to the series and finished reading all books that are available.

The series is about a viking named Hiccup, in the Hooligans tribe, his dragon Toothless, and his friends. Hiccup lived on an island named The Isle Of Berk. They were in training and needed to pass the initiation test. Hiccup was the son of the chief Stoick The Vast. So he was was supposed to be a cool, confident, and strong hero, right? No, he wasn't so much of a hero but his cousin, Snoutlout, the second heir of the chief, was. When the boys get to the cave of the dragons for the initiation test, all the kids are looking for the best dragon, except the scared Hiccup. Hiccup just wanted a simple dragon to pass. But Fishlegs, Hiccup's best friend, wanted a better one.

Obviously, Snoutlout had gotten the best dragon, The Monstrous Nightmare, a really scary dragon.  Hiccup caught his dragon, which was a basic brown type and then all the dragons in the cave fell out because of Fishlegs dropping his dragon. Fishlegs had no dragon. Hiccup gave Fishlegs his own dragon but then Hiccup sensed a dragon and he got it.

How to Train your dragon
Toothless not obeying Hiccup
Everyone was amazed Hiccup and Fishlegs even got a dragon. In the next 4 months they had to train them about how to hunt, normal rules, and prepare them for a Viking holiday called Thursday Thor's day.  But the strange thing about Hiccup's dragon was its size; it was tiny! Hiccup's dragon, Toothless, was disobedient and it couldn't follow basic commands that were needed like sit, stay, and go.

Hiccup tries every tactic he knows of to train his dragon. Secretly, Hiccup had been learning the language of the dragons, Dragonese! He could talk to his dragon, so Hiccup had one last idea: tell him jokes. Toothless obeys Hiccup for his love of jokes, so when they went fishing the next day he made an agreement to Toothless which was to tell him a joke. Toothless caught 6 fish. The story continues on as Hiccup tries to teach Toothless how to be a good dragon. On Thursday Thors'day, Toothless gets into a fight and all the dragons start to bite each other and fight. They all had to leave for exile, as they couldn't pass the initiation test. Suddenly, a really BIG dragon comes on the shore. A Sea Dragonous Giaganticus! The young warriors are given one more day under the Hooligan's Roof. To make the dragon move, all the Hooligans try the one basic thing that they know of... SHOUTING! That didn't work, so grudgingly, they ask Hiccup to help! Hiccup tries to convince the dragon to leave the shore. The dragon won't agree, so Hiccup comes up with a plan. They ask their hunting dragons to carry feathers and drop it on the dragon to make it cough and leave. Eventually the Sea Dragon stops coughing, and doesn't leave. When the dragons come back, Toothless says he saw another big dragon! So Hiccup has a brilliant idea: to make the big dragons fight. He tells one dragon that the other dragon was making fun of it. They also tell the other dragon the same thing. They start fighting and both get badly wounded.

How to Train your dragon #2    Before the Sea Dragon died, he picked Hiccup up and ate him. Is this the end? Well I leave that to you and I really, really hope you read this book. There are eleven books, and the 12th (finale) will come this year, in 2014. I am really excited for it to come out. These are the books in order:
How to Train Your Dragon, How to Be a Pirate, How to Speak Dragonese, How to Cheat a Dragon's Curse, How to Twist a Dragon's Tale, A Hero's Guide to Deadly Dragons, How to Ride a Dragon's Storm, How to Break a Dragon's Heart, How to Steal a Dragon's Sword, How to Seize a Dragon's Jewel, and How to Betray a Dragon's Hero. Read these books over the Summer! Have fun!

  2. Like its 2010 predecessor, it's one of the most gorgeous computer-animated kids' films you'll come across, and one of the few that uses 3-D smartly and effectively.
